B2 Tempranillo 2011
TASTING NOTES
This lighter styled red shows notes of dried cranberry and bright cherry with subtle elements of leather and hazelnut. Fine tannins persist on a finish of wild herbs and earthy spice typical to this variety. Perfect for summer as it's a lighter bodied, fruitier, less oaky styled wine.

FOOD MATCHING
This lighter bodied Tempranillo would go well with tapas. A plate of olives, marinated mushrooms, a few slices of Chorizo sausage and some dried cured ham.
Roasted lamb is also the ideal accompaniment to Tempranillo paired with Sheep milk cheeses, roast stuffed peppers and a vegetable casserole.
PRODUCTION
160 Cases produced.
VINEYARD
Planted in 2007 on a 1/3 Ha sloping block, this variety is one of our newest. Young vines provide for a lighter styled wine which makes this Tempraniilo easy to approach.
WINERY
Fermented in 1 smaller batch allowed us to keep a close eye on progress. Aged in 5 neutral French oak barrels for 12 months.
